The all new Toyota 86…Made to Thrill

The new Toyota 86 shows Toyota going back to its roots of designing sport cars, by using a front engine rear wheel drive layout equipped with a 2.0 ltr direct fuel injection horizontal boxer engine that generates 200 HP, and a new six speed automatic or manual transmission. The low center of gravity resulting from the horizontal engine gives the car its superior handling quality and vehicle stability, and the direct fuel injection system gives the vehicles its powerful head start, while the Torsen LSD provides a delightful driving sensation of controlling a sports car.

The Toyota 86 pays homage to Toyota’s sports car icons, such as the Supra and 2000GT in terms of design. With its long, low bonnet, high wings, rear-set cabin, sport alloy wheels, and maximum level of visuals, the 86 embodies an astonishing racing car.

The interior of the new 86 is driver oriented, which implies acknowledging all the of the driver’s needs and reflexes, stimulating a real sport car cockpit. The seats are designed to hold the driver firmly, and the console has cushion to protect the knees of the occupants. The steering wheel made relatively smaller for better grip while meters, shift and parking brake levers, switches, navigation display screen, are designed to enhance the driving pleasure. Also the rear view mirror is frameless in a futuristic way that gives maximum visual exposure.

Despite its striking sporty design, the Toyota 86 comes with the latest safety inventions as always from Toyota. It comes with a lightweight tough body that allows agility with safety, while the low center of gravity makes the vehicle stable when driving with high speeds.
