Ebrahim K. Kanoo Organizes the 14th National Skill Contest

Ebrahim K. Kanoo, Toyota & Lexus sole distributor in Bahrain, organized the 14th National Skill Contest to determine the most skillful Service Advisor, General Technician, and Parts advisor from all its Toyota Service and Parts Centers in Kingdom Bahrain.

The competition was held at Toyota Plaza in Tubli, and was attended by top management of Ebrahim K. Kanoo and Toyota Motor Corporation, as well as guests from Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Education, Insurance companies and other local companies.

Toyota’s National Skill Contest which started in 1995 aims to develop the skills of the aftersales staff in Ebrahim K. Kanoo. This year’s competition tests the skills of Diagnosis and Repairing of engines, Customer Service, as well as spare parts selling techniques.

“We are very keen to have this competition every year, as it adds excitement and enthusiasm to the work force in our service centers, which ultimately reflects positively on the service provided to the customers and their total experience with Ebrahim K. Kanoo” Mr. Ebrahim Kanoo, Director of Operation.

Mr. Periyasamy Jayaprakash won the Gold medal in the General Technician category, while in the Customer Service category Mr. Aruna Sherigara won the Gold medal, and Mr. Azim Nafis won Gold medal in Spare Parts category.

It’s worth mentioning that the winners of This Toyota National Skill Contest will travel to Japan to compete against winners of other countries in the region, for the title of the world Champion later this year.
