Ebrahim K Kanoo gets Platinum Partner Award from EXIDE

Ebrahim K. Kanoo B.S.C.C©, the sole distributor for Exide batteries in the Kingdom of Bahrain, organized “Exide Customer Meet” for their channel & trade partners, fleet customers and end users. The event, attended by more than 200 invited guests, was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel on 25th April 2010. Exide batteries are the global leader in stored electrical energy.
The event started with a welcome address by Mr.Gurcharan Singh, General Manager- Spare Parts Division, Ebrahim K .Kanoo B.S.C© followed by a key note address by Mr. Robert Rossouw, Director, Exide Al Dobowi Ltd, Dubai.
“With advancing automobile technology and emphasis on Green technology, there is a need for high capacity batteries. Towards this end, Exide has been successful in producing batteries for Hybrid cars with AGM technology. Exide believes that all future cars need batteries with AGM technology and they are geared to take up this challenge.” said Mr. Robert during his address.
An overview on the history of Exide batteries, the product range & the worldwide operations, futuristic technologies with an emphasis on green technologies, presented by Mr. Satish Varma, Manager – Automotive Business, Exide Al Dobowi Ltd enlightened the audience on the global leadership of Exide.
During the event, Exide Batteries honoured Ebrahim K. Kanoo B.S.C© by awarding the prestigious “Platinum Partner” status in appreciation of their efforts in building the Exide brand and securing the market leadership position in the Kingdom of Bahrain within the last 6 years.
