A training program was conducted by “Kansai Paint Co. Japan” at the Toyota Body & Paint Service Centers in order to introduce the new dry sanding technique used during body and paint operations.

The training focused on dry sanding procedures in surface preparation. When compared to manual sanding with water, dry sanding is more efficient in preparing damaged vehicle panel before top coat spraying. Also, dry sanding allows the paint technicians to do the job in a more professional and clean manner. It also gives a more uniform appearance of clear especially in the fadeout areas.
Implementing this technique is just a small part of the preparation Ebrahim K. Kanoo is undergoing before the opening of Toyota Plaza, where the latest and most advanced equipments and paint materials will be used.
