Opening of Security 1 showroom in Sitra

GE Security has announced the opening of a Pro Express Security Showroom in Sitra.The ‘one-address, one-stop shop’ will be operated by Security 1, a division of the Ebrahim K Kanoo Group.It will offer security professionals access to a selected range of security products in a business-to-business service outlet.It is hoped that this point of sale service will allow security professionals enhance their work efficiency and better serve their customers.

Pro Express will also be providing on-location, first-hand technical support from experts who have extensive knowledge of the complete range of security products, solutions and applications.”We are delighted to bring this concept to the GCC, further affirming our commitment to helping to enhance security standards in the region,” GE Security country sales manager for Bahrain and Qatar Karim Mahdi said.”Pro Express will carry a permanent stock of at least 150 high-volume items, allowing security professionals in the region to select what they want, when they want.”

Bahrain’s growth as a commercial and tourism hub has led to greater interest in security, E K Kanoo’s general manager of business development and planning Bijan Majidi said.”Bahrain has a healthy financial services sector and is quickly establishing itself as a regional commercial and tourism hub. This growth has led to greater interest in security in the industrial, commercial, hospitality, residential, governmental, healthcare, transportation and financial sectors.
