“Yale University” Students visit Ebrahim K. Kanoo

A group of 30 MBA students from Yale University visited Ebrahim K. Kanoo Corporate Office on Monday 12th of January, where they attended a presentation on the company’s trading history, its services and operations as well as its current and future expansion plans.
Yale University, which is considered to be one of the highly respected educational institutions in the world, selected Ebrahim K. Kanoo as being one the leading business groups in Bahrain and in the region.

The visit program began with a brief reception session attended by Mr. Waleed E. Kanoo, member of Ebrahim K. Kanoo Board of Directors. He started the session by welcoming the students and said “it is our pleasure to share our success story with you. We appreciate your consideration of our company as a leading business example to learn from.”

Afterwards, a lecture was given by the company Business Development General Manager Mr. Bijan Majidi, followed by a discussion session. The main focus of the lecture was on the company’s history, its strategic plans and developments projects in addition to Bahrain economic strengths and opportunities.

Next, Toyota & Lexus Brand Manager Mr. Ayman Shehadeh presented a brief insight into the operational side of the company and gave an overview on the automobiles market in Bahrain, plus a synopsis on the ongoing projects of the company. Mr. Ayman delivered a detailed and illustrative presentation of the yet to be finished “Toyota Plaza”, which is a state of the art one stop solution for Toyota and Lexus owners in Bahrain, and is the benchmark for projects in the same genre all around GCC.

On the other hand, Laura Reidy, Teaching Assistant at Yale University conveyed the University Administration gratitude and appreciation for welcoming this visit and added “It was an honor to meet Mr. Kanoo and listen to his team demonstration of how Ebrahim K. Kanoo evolved through the time and how it has become one of the pioneering business conglomerates in the Kingdom of Bahrain”.

And at the visit, memorial gifts were distributed and a group photo was taken.
