Ebrahim K. Kanoo Donates a Toyota Hiace Bus

In line with its corporate policy in constantly supporting the various social activities and charity works in Bahrain, Ebrahim K. Kanoo, the sole distributer of Toyota & Lexus, has donated a brand new 15 seat Toyota Hiace bus to the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Difficulties. The donation was handed to the society principals last Thursday by Toyota and Lexus Executive Sales General Manager Mr. Ismail Akbar in a small ceremony. The mission of the society is to help engage such disabled individuals along with their families in order to be effective and efficient members of their communities. Education, active public awareness and the promotion of research form the cornerstones of the society’s efforts to carry forth its mission.Mr. Ismail Akbar while handing the key to the Society Vice President commented by saying “we have always been an active supporter of any organization that works for the goodwill of disabled individuals and for the community as a whole.  Today we are giving away one Hiace Bus hoping it will contribute positively to the society endeavors”.One the other hand, it is widely acknowledged that Ebrahim K. Kanoo supports charity projects and welfare activities generously. Many medical centers, child care organizations, educational and vocational institutions have received financial supports and material supplies from the company over the past years.
